Services / Pickling and passivation of stainless steels in Brno

Reasons for pickling and passivating alloyed stainless steels are detailed in the article “Pickling and passivating – final surface treatment of alloyed stainless steels.

Pickling can be done by submerging parts in pickling solutions or by spraying just as the subsequent passivation. The company also performs degreasing and conditioning of the surface for dipping in a pickling bath.

We have the following tanks for dip pickling:

length (mm)   depth (mm)    width (mm)     No.
12 500     2 000 2 000 1 tank
10 000 3 000 2 000 1 tank
10 000  2 000 2 000 2 tanks

There is also a bath for rinsing of the removed parts of the following dimensions:

length (mm)   depth (mm)    width (mm)     No.
10 000     2 000 2 000 1 tank

And a bath with passivation solution of the following dimensions:

length (mm)   depth (mm)    width (mm)     No.
10 000     2 000 2 000 1 tank

Spraying is used to stain parts which, due to their large dimensions, improper shape, construction details or material combination, cannot be stained. The limit is the size of the door, which is 5 000 mm wide and 5 000 mm high. The spray box has a length of 20,000 mm, a width of 8,000 mm and a height of 8,000 mm

Pickling is ensured by a system of 8 overhead cranes with a lifting capacity of 20 or 10 tons. For easier handling, the load capacity of selected cranes is divided into 2 cats. The halls are also interwoven with a system of tracks that are stainless steel in the pickling areas.

Packaging can be done in any way according to the customer's needs.

Ecology: To ensure ecological disposal and complete supervision of this process, a new modern neutralization station was established. The internal environment is treated by a special air-conditioning system with acid vapor absorbers which wash the exhaust air from the pickling areas.
