Our surface treatment operations have been extended by the addition of a modern paint shop for wet coatings. Painting is classic barrier protection for carbon steel. We apply all standard wet coatings and most specialty materials and systems. The paint box is able to regulate the internal temperature between 5 °C and 60 °C. In any activity, we take customer requirements into account, including paint shade and layer thickness.

Dimensions and capacities

We currently have one paint box, which is equipped with rails for handling heavy parts. The area in front of the paint box is serviced by cranes with load capacities of 10,000 kg and 20,000 kg.

Offered operations

We currently offer painting of both carbon and stainless steel. Painting is an effective way to protect these materials. It increases corrosion resistance and protects against other environmental influences that can negatively affect their service life and appearance. For carbon steels, the paint serves as a barrier to prevent direct contact with moisture, air and chemicals. Before applying a coating, it is essential to make sure that the surface is perfectly degreased.

Handling and packaging

The goal of each process is to optimise the final product with respect to the cost of the process. In order to maintain the highest possible quality of the painted parts even after transport to the customer, it is first of all necessary to allow the paint to cure perfectly on the painted parts. Then, depending on the nature and shape of the individual parts, we will select the most optimal packaging method for shipping according to the customer's requirements. For painted partsare most commonly used wooden beams, prisms and pallets. For large cylindrical tanksare most suitable customized wooden beds.

Quality, audits, certificates

The specification of the coating system is based on the CSN EN ISO 12944 standard. The type of coating, layer thickness, colour shade, etc. is chosen according to the customer’s requirement. The coating system is selected according to the painted material and required corrosion resistance.

The final surface quality is supervised by a team of technicians from the quality department. During the evaluation of the finished coating system, a visual inspection of the surface and measurement of the coating thickness according to the CSN EN ISO 12944 standard are performed. Further tests according to this standard should be consulted with the paint shop technician. On request, a report on performance of the work according to CSN EN 10204 will be issued with the order – Declaration of Conformity with the Order. If necessary, it is possible to agree with the quality manager on the issuance of an Inspection Certificate according to CSN EN 10240.
